His world shattered when Fei Wang Reed orchestrated a demonic invasion of Suwa, claiming both parents: his mother slain by a blade through a portal, his father falling in combat. Discovering their bodies, Kurogane spiraled into vengeful fury until Tomoyo subdued him, forging a replica of his father’s sword, Ginryū—its original entombed with his mother—and binding him to her service.
Exiled for brutality, Kurogane was thrust into the care of dimension witch Yūko Ichihara to grasp true strength. Cursed to weaken with each unnecessary kill, he surrendered Ginryū to traverse worlds, later acquiring the blade Sōhi in Ōto.
