Description
Raoh, also known as Ken-Oh (King of Fists), stands as the eldest of the four Hokuto Shinken brothers and a central figure in the post-apocalyptic world. Born to Hahaja and descended from the Ryou lineage, he served the Hokuto Soke clan alongside his biological siblings: older brother Kaioh, younger brother Toki, and younger sister Sayaka. As a child, Raoh witnessed his mother sacrifice herself to save the Hokuto Soke brothers during the Taiseiden fire, an event that deeply affected him and complicated his relationship with Kaioh.

Following the Land of Shura's invasion, Jukei sent Raoh, Toki, and the infant Kenshiro to train under Ryuken. In the Hokuto Shinken successor selection, Raoh saved Toki from a canyon fall, demanding Ryuken adopt both brothers, revealing his early loyalty to family. Raoh trained intensely, developing a fierce fighting style. He encountered Yuria after a training injury; she nursed him back to health, sparking mutual affection. Their bond deepened when Raoh protected her from wolves, though later complicated by ties to Kenshiro.

After Ryuken designated Kenshiro as successor, Raoh shattered the 1800-year Hokuto tradition by refusing to relinquish his martial knowledge. He killed Ryuken when confronted about misusing the style, then departed to conquer the wasteland as Ken-Oh. He established Cassandra prison to hoard martial arts scrolls and imprisoned Toki there to prevent an alliance with Kenshiro.

Conquering the wastes, Raoh fought opponents like Rei, master of Nanto Suicho Ken, striking his fatal pressure point. He later battled Kenshiro to a standstill at Mamiya's village, an encounter halted by Toki's intervention to prevent mutual destruction. Raoh monitored Souther's activities but avoided direct confrontation due to a wound from Kenshiro and Souther's unexplained immunity to Hokuto Shinken. After Kenshiro's defeat by Souther, Raoh ordered his rescue and later observed Kenshiro's victory over the Holy Emperor.

Raoh confronted Koryu to test his recovery, defeating him despite the master's Shichisei Massatsu technique. He later dueled Toki, honoring a childhood promise, and spared his radiation-weakened brother. Subsequently, Raoh fought and killed the Nanto Goshasei guardians—Huey, Shuren, and Juza—to reach the Last Nanto General. Discovering Yuria as the Last General, Raoh captured her after escaping Kenshiro's newly mastered Musou Tensei. Haunted by fear of this power, he abandoned the Ken-Oh title and sought Musou Tensei himself. Confronting Fudou the Demon, he learned true sorrow was required. Raoh attempted to sacrifice Yuria for this purpose, discovering her terminal illness instead. Feeling sympathy, he achieved Musou Tensei through this sorrow.

In his final battle against Kenshiro at Hokuto Renkitōza, Raoh was defeated. Before dying, he revealed extending Yuria's lifespan using pressure points and released his remaining life energy skyward to restore light to the world, declaring he had no regrets.
