Description
Henrietta de Tristain is the crown princess and later queen of Tristain. She ascends the throne after her father's death under unclear circumstances, sparking palace power struggles. Kind and caring, Henrietta possesses a strong sense of duty that drives her to shoulder heavy burdens for her kingdom's stability, despite personally disliking war. She stands 158 cm tall, with short purple hair, teal blue eyes, and typically wears a purple cloak, a white silk dress with long sleeves, white stockings, white high-heeled shoes, and a diadem.

Her deep childhood friendship with Louise Françoise Le Blanc de La Vallière leads Henrietta to later adopt Louise as her sister, placing Louise second in line to the throne after Louise renounces her nobility during a mission to rescue Tabitha. Henrietta was romantically involved with her cousin, Prince Wales Tudor of Albion. His assassination by Reconquista devastates her and fuels her resolve to defend Tristain against Albion's invasion. Cardinal Mazarin arranges her politically motivated engagement to Emperor Albrecht III of Germania for Tristain's safety, though a Reconquista false flag operation postpones the wedding.

Emotionally vulnerable after Wales's death, Henrietta struggles when confronted by his reanimated form, temporarily abandoning her duties to flee with him after Cromwell resurrects him using the Ring of Andvari. Louise dispels the magic at Lake Lagdorian, allowing Wales a final moment to urge Henrietta to move on and find new love. Henrietta subsequently develops romantic feelings for Saito Hiraga, Louise's familiar. This causes significant tension; she confesses her love to Saito while disguised as Louise at a ball, and they share an intimate moment after discovering a magical mirror connecting her bedchamber to a hidden room in Saito's mansion. These events strain her relationship with Louise, leading to confrontations, though Henrietta ultimately resolves not to interfere further in Louise and Saito's relationship.

As queen, Henrietta actively leads Tristain through crises. She commands allies against an Ancient Dragon threatening the kingdom and participates directly in the battle. Politically, she sends Louise, Saito, and Tiffania to Romalia to consult the Pope about emerging threats. In a gesture acknowledging lineage and relinquishing personal ties, she gifts Tiffania, the last surviving member of Albion's royal family, the ring originally given to her by Prince Wales. Henrietta later attends Saito and Louise's wedding.

Her favorite food is horn-sheep soup. Her hobby is disguising, and she is skilled at dancing, particularly to the melody of "Fairy's Lunch." Henrietta and Louise share a childhood fight record of 29 wins for Henrietta, 24 losses, and 1 tie. She wields water-affinity magic as a Triangle Mage, potentially reaching Hexagon level when combined with Wales's power, though she rarely uses magic practically. She values freedom, stating: "Freedom is the best treasure, after all."
