Description
Robin Mask, a Justice Chojin representing England, begins his journey as an antagonist before transforming into a key protagonist. Raised in England's prestigious Robin family, he trained as a wrestler from youth, winning the 19th Chojin Olympics by defeating Japan's Uldraman and reigning as a dominant champion.
His trajectory shifted during the 20th Chojin Olympics finals against Kinnikuman, fought under a loser-exiled stipulation. Despite superior strength, speed, and skill, Robin Mask lost when Kinnikuman unlocked his Burning Inner Strength. This defeat exiled him from England, forcing relocation to Africa with his wife, Alisa Mackintosh. Consumed by vengeance, he later abandoned his family to pursue Kinnikuman, becoming a brutal enforcer for the World Supermen Federation.
His vengeful quest culminated above the Grand Canyon. He saved Kinnikuman from a rigged plane crash during their rematch but seemingly fell to his death. Surviving severely injured, he retreated to Russia. Adopting the alias Mr. Barracuda, he trained Warsman with harsh methods, including forced combat with death row inmates, intending to wield him as a weapon against Kinnikuman.
Redemption began at the 21st Chojin Olympics when Warsman defied him. Witnessing Kinnikuman's integrity, Robin Mask abandoned vengeance, rejoined the Justice Chojin, and adopted a mentor role among the Idol Chojin. He later led Team Kinnikuman in the Survivor Match for the Kinniku Throne Arc, cementing his status as a strategic leader.
Key relationships shaped his path. He married Alisa Mackintosh despite anti-Chojin sentiment from her family, though wrestling dedication occasionally strained their bond. As Warsman's mentor, their dynamic evolved from abusive (as Mr. Barracuda) to a respected partnership, including teaming as the Chojin Master/Student Combo. His strict training extended to his son, Kevin Mask, causing initial estrangement before reconciliation.
In the Perfect Origin Arc, Robin Mask served as a veteran strategist for Team Kinnikuman during the tournament against the Perfect Large Numbers. Facing Nemesis in the Pyramid Stage's second round, he showcased tactical prowess and resilience. During this fight, he removed his signature armor—which normally suppresses his full strength—to enhance speed and agility, though he ultimately lost.
His abilities encompass standard Chojin physiology: superhuman strength, durability, flight, and size manipulation. He employs specialized techniques like the Tower Bridge (an Argentine Backbreaker), wields the fire-manipulating Analo Staff, and unleashes the freezing Robin's Ice Rock Gyro. His combat style emphasizes precision and efficiency, often analyzing opponents mid-grapple.
