Description
Warsman, originally Nikolai Volkov, was born in the Soviet Union to a human mother, Natasha Volkoff, and a cyborg father, Mikhailman, resulting in his hybrid Robo Chojin nature. His father self-destructed after losing control during a match, and illness claimed his mother shortly after, leaving him orphaned. Bullied throughout childhood for his partially mechanical face, he concealed his appearance with a sack and lived in poverty.

At age ten, the SKGB (Superhuman Wrestler National Security Committee) recruited him, promising to hone his abilities. He survived brutal training that eliminated other recruits, adopted the identity "Warsman," and received his signature black armor and mask. During this period, he befriended fellow trainee Kommandas. Discovering the SKGB's true intent to create robotic soldiers, he rebelled. Forced to kill the mechanized Kommandas in self-defense, he was rescued by Robin Mask—disguised as Mr. Barracuda—who became his mentor.

Initially an antagonist, Warsman competed lethally in the 21st Chojin Olympics as a Brutal Chojin. His combat style relied on analytical precision, retractable iron claws (Bear Claws), and techniques like the Screw Driver and Palo Special. He defeated opponents fatally, including Teapackman, Pentagon, and Ramenman, whom he left comatose. During his finals match against Kinnikuman, a pivotal transformation occurred: influenced by Kinnikuman's refusal to exploit his weakness and Bibimba's compassion, he destroyed his Bear Claws and embraced justice. His subsequent defeat, caused by his body overheating after 30 minutes of combat, solidified his shift to a Justice Chojin.

As a protagonist, Warsman joined Kinnikuman's allies but faced repeated tragedies. He sacrificed himself during the Seven Devil Chojin Arc against Buffaloman, who later revived him through shared power. In the Golden Mask Arc, he allowed Kinnikuman to strike through his likeness to defeat Planetman, resulting in another mortal injury. During the Dream Chojin Tag Tournament, he partnered with Robin Mask as the "Chojin Master/Student Combo." Neptuneman forcibly removed his mask, leading to his death and the addition of his mask to Neptuneman's collection.

In the "Scramble for the Throne" arc, Warsman resided in the Chojin Graveyard, aiding Kinnikuman by donating Life Spheres to facilitate his escape. Revived by Dr. Bombay with a synthetic heart, he suffered amnesia, forgetting his fighting techniques. Robin Mask, reappearing as Barracuda, retrained him, restoring his abilities. He defeated The Manriki using the Palo Special but was ambushed by Mammothman before his scheduled match, preventing his participation in the finals.

In later years, Warsman aged minimally due to his cybernetic physiology. He mentored Kevin Mask (Robin Mask's son) under the alias "Chloe" during the Chojin Olympics: The Resurrection Arc, forming a trusted bond. He later competed alongside Mammothman as "Hell’s Bears" in the Ultimate Chojin Tag Tournament. In spin-offs, he appeared as "Battleman," a robotic law enforcer on Earth, maintaining his protective nature.

His abilities included the Warsman Smile, a grinning mask expression preceding finishing moves, and Super Friendship Mode, temporarily overcoming his 30-minute limit through emotional resolve. Despite his mechanical composition, he valued connections deeply, evident in his loyalty to Robin Mask—whom he regarded as a father figure—and his self-sacrifices for allies.
