Description
Ranpha Franboise is one of the principal members of the Moon Angel Troupe featured in Galaxy Angel X, where she serves as a second lieutenant and senior operative of the group. Within the unit she is the resident martial arts expert and pilots a close-combat mecha known as the Kung-fu Fighter, a machine suited to her direct and forceful approach in battle.
Physically, Ranpha is a blonde young woman who is almost always presented in a striking red Chinese-style dress. Her design reflects a glamorous, theatrical self-image, and she carries herself as someone who expects to be admired. Among her distinctive features are the twin ornaments worn in her hair, which are not simple decoration; in the course of the series they can be used as a grappling hook or as weapons such as a nunchaku or mace, and she is capable of producing tools and weapons from seemingly nowhere at convenient moments.
