Melanie Henriquez is a Venezuelan voice actor born in Caracas on July 5, 1978, recognized for an extensive career in dubbing for animation and anime, particularly for Spanish-language versions distributed across Latin America. She comes from a family with a strong tradition in acting, being the granddaughter of Venezuelan actor Tomás Henríquez and the daughter of actor and director Lorenzo Henríquez.

Henriquez began her career in voice acting and became known for a wide range of roles. Her filmography is particularly notable for her work in anime series, where she voiced leading and supporting characters. Among her most recognized anime roles are Ai Enma in the series Hell Girl and its sequel Hell Girl: Two Mirrors, a part that required conveying a wide range of subdued emotion. She also voiced Ranpha Franboise in the Galaxy Angel franchise, including Galaxy Angel A, as well as Brass in Medabots and Medabots Spirit, and Natsumi in I'm Gonna Be An Angel. Her other prominent anime credits include Barnette Orangello in Vandread, Megumi Noda in Nodame Cantabile, Winry Rockbell in the Animax broadcast of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Lori in Transformers: Cybertron.

Beyond anime, Henriquez had a prolific career dubbing animated series and films. She is widely known as the primary Spanish voice for the character Bloom in the Winx Club series and for voicing the Barbie doll in numerous direct-to-video films. She also provided voices for characters such as Heather in the Total Drama franchise, Diana Lombard in Martín Mystery, and was the longest-running voice of Karen Plankton in the Venezuelan dubbing of SpongeBob SquarePants.

Throughout her career, Henriquez frequently collaborated with a regular ensemble of fellow Venezuelan voice actors. Records indicate she worked alongside Jhonny Torres on over twenty different projects, and also frequently with actors such as Juan Guzmán, Rebeca Aponte, and Yensi Rivero. In July 2015, Henriquez announced her retirement from dubbing due to relocating to Tenerife, Spain. After a brief return for a special project in 2018, she officially resumed her voice acting career in 2022, recording from her home studio in Spain.
