Description
Arale Norimaki is an android constructed by Senbei Norimaki in Penguin Village, designed as a humanoid robot mimicking a young girl. Senbei created her striving for the world's first perfect android, though severe nearsightedness necessitating corrective glasses emerged as her sole physical imperfection. To conceal her robotic nature from villagers, Senbei introduces her as his younger sister or daughter—a ruse maintained despite her frequent exhibitions of superhuman abilities.

Her personality blends childlike naivete with extraordinary intelligence, enabling feats like advanced mathematics or performing frog appendectomies while approaching life with playful absurdity. She exhibits fascination for unconventional interests, including poking feces with sticks and consuming inedible objects like metal, alongside fervent enthusiasm for Japanese superhero culture and monster films. Arale communicates with distinctive phrases: greetings of "N'cha," farewells of "Bye'cha," expressions of bewilderment like "Hoyoyo," and emits a high-pitched "Kiiin" during her signature running pose with arms thrust forward.

Arale wields immense, illogical physical strength, capable of splitting Earth in half with her Chikyūwari punch or firing energy beams called N'chahō. Her powers defy conventional physics through "toon force," enabling reality-warping acts such as popping the sun like a balloon, surviving decapitation, detaching limbs as projectiles, neck-stretching, size alteration, and flight propelled by flatulence. During conflicts, she demonstrates reactive evolution, spontaneously amplifying power or replicating opponents' techniques like fire-breathing or Super Saiyan transformations.

Her story initiates with activation in Senbei's lab, followed by enrollment in Penguin Village Middle School where she befriends rebellious classmate Akane Kimidori and encounters brothers Taro and Peasuke Soramame. Key adventures involve time-travel expeditions with Senbei, leading to the discovery of a mysterious egg that hatches Gatchan—a winged, metal-eating creature joining the Norimaki household. Later arcs feature confrontations with extraterrestrial threats like King Nikochan, whose ship Gatchan consumes to protect Earth, and encounters with criminals where Arale's obliviousness to danger inadvertently subdues foes.

During the "Great Race Around the World" organized by the Radial Kingdom, Arale competes globally, motivated by prize money to support her family. This race pits her against antagonists like Dr. Mashirito while showcasing vehicular mastery and unconventional problem-solving across worldwide challenges.

Arale appears in Dragon Ball crossovers, initially encountering Son Goku during his pursuit of General Blue. She effortlessly defeats Blue with a kick and headbutt, impresses Goku by matching his Kinto'un cloud vehicle, and later aids in repairing his Dragon Radar. In Dragon Ball Super, she battles Goku and Vegeta, her gag-based abilities overwhelming them, illustrating Toriyama's hierarchy where comedic characters surpass serious fighters. Across all appearances, her core traits persist: extraordinary power paired with innocent absurdity, loyalty to friends and family, and reality-altering cartoon physics.
