Description
Juno is a female gray wolf and a first-year student at Cherryton Academy, where she becomes a member of the drama club's acting team. Standing 170 centimeters tall and weighing 51 kilograms in the manga, she possesses a striking appearance with long, curly reddish-brown fur and distinct blue eyes. Her physical design was intentionally created as a contrast to another character, with a fully mature figure featuring prominent curves and the sweet, childlike eyes reminiscent of a young Winona Ryder.

Juno’s personality is bright, energetic, and socially adept, allowing her to quickly win over classmates who might otherwise envy her beauty. She treats all animals with kindness and possesses a natural charisma that helps her navigate the complex social dynamics of the school. Beneath this affable exterior, however, lies a highly ambitious and idealistic individual. Juno is fiercely determined and will not easily give up on her goals, a trait that can manifest as possessiveness or a manipulative streak when she pursues what she wants. She is very conscious of her own emotions and acts on them honestly, whether that means expressing affection or declaring rivalry.

Her motivations are deeply tied to her identity as a carnivore. Juno dreams of creating a better world where carnivores are praised for their true strength rather than being feared by herbivores. She initially believes that carnivores and herbivores should maintain a reasonable distance from each other for the sake of peace, and she aspires to become the next Beastar, the academy's most prestigious student leader, to enact this vision. This ambition is intertwined with her personal life, as she falls in love with her fellow gray wolf, Legoshi, after he rescues her from bullies. She becomes fixated on the idea of forming a perfect pure-blood wolf couple with him, believing that their shared species makes them biologically and socially compatible.

Juno’s role in the story is significant, as she serves as both a rival and a catalyst for other main characters. She openly declares war on Louis, the red deer who is the current frontrunner for Beastar, challenging his authority and his hidden disdain for carnivores. During the Meteor Festival, she takes over the lead role in Louis's absence and uses the performance to publicly elevate Legoshi's heroism, attempting to improve the image of carnivores while simultaneously staking her romantic claim.

Her key relationships evolve considerably throughout the narrative. Her initial infatuation with Legoshi remains unrequited, as his heart belongs to a small rabbit named Haru. Though Juno is jealous of Haru at first, she eventually comes to understand the herbivore's appeal and the nature of interspecies love after spending time with her in the gardening club. Juno’s relationship with Louis begins as a rivalry but transforms into something more complex. After seeking him out in the black market, she shares an unexpected deep kiss with him, marking her first romantic experience and shifting her affections toward the deer. Despite Louis later revealing he has a fiancée and attempting to push her away, Juno remains determined and continues to pursue her feelings for him, even seeking advice from Legoshi as an expert in interspecies romance.

Throughout her journey, Juno undergoes significant development. She learns to let go of her initial ideal of a pure-blood couple and accepts that love can transcend species boundaries. She also matures beyond her simplistic view of carnivore-herbivore relations, realizing that coexistence requires more than just maintaining distance. Eventually, she gives up her ambition to become Beastar, recognizing that her desire for segregation, even if well-intentioned, did not align with the true spirit of the title. In terms of abilities, beyond her physical strength as a wolf, Juno's greatest assets are her charisma, confidence, and skill as a performer. She is an exceptional dancer and actress, capable of captivating an audience and uniting a divided theater club through sheer force of personality.
