Peter "Pete" Whipple, widely known by the nickname Pistol Pete, is a character in the series Knuckles. He is a celebrated bowler from Britain who holds an extraordinary record as a 27-time champion of the Bowling Tournament of Champions in Reno, Nevada, a feat that turned him into a famous and extravagant public figure. Beneath that polished celebrity image, however, he is the estranged father of Wade Whipple and Wanda Whipple and the former husband of Wendy Whipple.
