Description
Hon is a demon who serves as the tournament manager and an adviser to the Four Heavenly Kings, specifically to the powerful demon Azudora. Physically, he is depicted as a short, walrus-like creature with a distinct horn on his head, giving him a small and somewhat unimposing appearance. Despite his diminutive stature, he holds a position of responsibility within the demon hierarchy.

In his role as the tournament manager, Hon is efficient, detail-oriented, and possesses a calm, practical demeanor, even when faced with chaotic situations. He is frequently seen providing updates and explanations, acting as a steady informational anchor amidst the more volatile reactions of his colleagues. A key relationship in his life is with Azudora, one of the most powerful demons. Hon was once saved from a monster by Azudora, and this event created a strong bond of loyalty between them. In turn, Azudora trusts Hon, and Hon is often tasked with nursing the Heavenly King back to health when he is injured.

The narrative also showcases Hon's direct working relationship with Vamirio, another of the Four Heavenly Kings. When Vamirio takes over as tournament supervisor, Hon acts as her primary consultant, briefing her on the competition and the unprecedented situation of a human, Helck, being a top contender. He consistently provides her with crucial, level-headed information, such as explaining that a magical contract prevents Helck from harming any demon during the tournament. When an enraged Vamirio demands an opponent stronger than Helck, Hon calmly states the impossibility of this, as Helck has a recorded power level of ninety-nine. His practical nature also leads him to devise unconventional strategies to eliminate Helck from the tournament, such as proposing a card-stacking challenge and planning to give Helck slippery cards to create a disadvantage. While Vamirio reacts with explosive anger and paranoia, Hon often tries to temper her reactions, even as he works alongside her to achieve their shared goal.

Hon's role evolves from a tournament administrator to a more active participant in the larger conflict against the humans. He acts as a key messenger and intermediary for Azudora, delivering important plans and information to Vamirio on the front lines. In one instance, he delivers a letter from Azudora and recounts to Vamirio the Heavenly King’s complex personal history with a human hero named Uria, a story that adds crucial context to the war. Later, Hon is shown as part of the Urum Castle Defense team, working on a large-scale technique intended to save humans, demonstrating his commitment to Azudora's strategic goals beyond simple administrative duties. He even introduces Vamirio and Helck to the creature that will transport them to the Human Kingdom.

While possessing an array of magical skills, Hon's abilities are described as being geared towards assisting rather than direct combat. His primary strength lies in his intelligence, organizational skills, and his role as a strategist and adviser. His development throughout the story is subtle but significant; he moves from being a somewhat panicked tournament official in a comedic rivalry against Helck to a trusted and composed agent involved in the most critical and serious phases of the demon world's war. His loyalty to Azudora and his calm, rational approach to problem-solving make him an indispensable, if understated, pillar of support for the demon leadership.
