Beyond anime, Borcherding's dubbing career is remarkably broad, encompassing both live-action and animated projects across film, television, and video games. He is known as the German voice for numerous characters, including Professor Filius Flitwick (portrayed by Warwick Davis) in the Harry Potter film series, Loz in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, and Bifur in The Hobbit film trilogy. His television dubbing work includes roles in popular series such as Stargate SG-1, Game of Thrones, and South Park. He has also provided voices for video games, notably as Arcturus Mengsk in the German version of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. In addition to performing, Borcherding has written over 100 German dialogue books for dubbing and has also directed dubbing sessions.
