When the Incubi emerged, humanity was rocked to its core. These otherworldly monsters invaded the world and captured humans, using them for breeding purposes, pushing civilization to the brink of extinction. Only the Witches, magical girls bestowed with powers from supernatural beings, stand a chance against the creatures.

High schooler Renka Azuma happens to be one of them, fighting back as Silver Lotus, a witch who can control swarms of insects able to devour the Incubi. Her days are lonely but her mission is clear: destroy every last Incubi out there. Renka operates as a solitary hunter, bearing the weight of humanity survival on her shoulders without companionship or the normal experiences of a teenager.

Things take a turn when Silver Lotus comes across a novice witch named Azure Nova, saving her from a close call. To Renka surprise, she learns that Azure is a self-proclaimed fan of hers and wants to work together. This unexpected partnership begins to brighten her dark, solitary days. However, the Witches have a responsibility to protect humanity, raising the question of whether they can really afford to make friends and live like regular teenagers while the Incubi threat looms.

The story follows Renka as she navigates the tension between her duty as a protector and her growing connection with Azure Nova, exploring whether opening her heart to friendship will make her stronger or put them both in greater danger.
