Description
Charlotte Cocoriara, the daughter of a duke and the fiancée of a crown prince, suddenly recalls memories of her past life as a player of an MMO called Reas Life Online. She realizes her world is, in fact, the setting for Reas Love, an otome game spin-off of that MMO, and that she has been cast as the villainess destined for exile. When the prince publicly breaks their engagement to pursue a commoner girl, Charlotte happily accepts her fate, seeing it not as a punishment but as an opportunity for freedom.
Armed with her extensive game knowledge, Charlotte leaves her noble life behind and adopts the alias Sharon. Her first act is to change her character class from Dark Mage to Healer, a job change she believes no one else in this world knows how to perform. She seeks to explore the fantasy world as she always wanted to, grinding levels, challenging dungeons, and forming adventuring parties. Early on, she joins a team of rookie adventurers before finding her place as the healer for the Hero’s party, where her unique insights into game mechanics allow her to excel.
The setting spans from the noble court where Charlotte was exiled to the wider world of Reas Life Online, a land that operates on visible RPG mechanics like status screens and levels. The story follows Charlotte’s journey to live out her dream of becoming the ultimate support character, using her past-life knowledge to gain abilities that others lack. Her party includes a female hero, and she later takes on an apprentice named Tarte, a young girl who dreams of becoming a fighting alchemist.
Notable narrative arcs include Charlotte’s initial exile and transition to adventurer life under the name Sharon, her efforts to help a sickly Cait Sith child in their homeland, and a major conflict involving the church. In this arc, Charlotte and her party rescue Pope Tithia from a mutinous cardinal who has seized control of the cathedral in Zille and seeks to summon L’lyeh, the Goddess of Darkness. Charlotte works to level up her entire party and ventures into the Abbey to thwart the cardinal’s scheme, while also advancing her own job from Healer to Cleric.
