In the Holy Calendar year 2000, the celestial kingdom of Fortuna is on the verge of crashing. The saintly daughter Sara uncovers a hidden conspiracy behind this crisis but is quickly cornered by an unprecedented hunt for saints. At the moment she is pushed into a desperate situation, the mythical sage Harte appears before her. Sara begs for his help to save the kingdom, but Harte refuses, declaring it a waste of time. He is a bigoted eccentric who is fundamentally incompatible with saints and outright denies the existence of the goddess. The story follows Sara, an idealistic novice saint, and Harte, a genius sage whose abilities are immense but whose personality is stubborn and uncooperative.
