Description
The hero who defeated the Demon King and saved the world is dead. Gil, a half-elf who carries the hero’s blood, heads eagerly to the funeral of the father he has never met after hearing about an inheritance. However, upon arriving, Gil discovers he is not the only one who came to claim a piece of the legendary hero’s legacy.
The deceased hero was a womanizer, and his numerous children from various relationships across the land have all gathered for the reading of the will. What was expected to be a somber occasion quickly devolves into a ruthless, blood-soaked inheritance battle among his love-starved offspring. The conflict turns violent as these half-siblings, each carrying the hero’s blood and their own desperate need for recognition, collide over the spoils left behind by their absent father.
The primary protagonist is Gil, a half-elf son who never knew his father personally but is motivated by the promise of wealth and a desire to claim what he believes is his due. He is surrounded by a cast of antagonists and uneasy allies, all of whom are his half-siblings. The story takes place in a fantasy world recovering from the aftermath of the Demon King’s defeat, a setting often referred to as a post-adventure isekai world, where the focus shifts from grand quests to the messy, personal consequences of the hero’s life.
The central narrative arc revolves around this violent dispute over the hero’s estate. As the children clash, the story explores themes of neglect, the cost of heroism on those left behind, and whether this inheritance war will end in a mountain of corpses or something else entirely. Published by Maki Kanemaki, the series began serialization in Tonari no Young Jump in late January 2026 and was later added to the MANGA Plus platform in March 2026.
