High school student Tsukushi has the intimidating look of a thug, but his pressing issue is that he is a complete weakling who cannot win a fight despite his earnest desire to learn. His path crosses with Warabi, an elementary school girl who is incredibly strong but has no friends. Their first encounter occurs during a bizarre incident when a lion escapes from a local zoo. Just as the lion threatens Tsukushi, Warabi appears and knocks the animal down with a single flying kick. This event leads to the formation of an unusual duo: the extremely weak delinquent becomes the student of the strongest elementary school kid, who takes on the role of his teacher in the pursuit of strength. Despite their many differences in age, size, and reputation, they discover they have plenty in common. The story is set in Okinawa, Japan, and follows their comedic and action-filled partnership as they navigate school life and unexpected conflicts. The art style is inspired by 1980s shonen manga, reminiscent of classic works from that era.
