Manga
Description
A high school student named Haruki is a member of his school's manga research club, where he creates shoujo manga that he takes very seriously. His peace is disrupted by a pair of twin classmates who have been self-proclaimed fans of his work since middle school. However, their brand of fandom involves reading his comics and laughing at them loudly, turning a personal passion into a source of public mockery and anxiety for the creator.

The story follows Haruki as he confides his unease in a trusted classmate named Rikiya. Unlike the twins, Rikiya understands the deep personal value Haruki places on his art. To protect what is precious to his friend, Rikiya devises a plan to confront the twins and redefine what it means to be a true fan. The narrative explores the delicate relationship between an artist and their audience, focusing on themes of respect, creative vulnerability, and the difference between casual ridicule and genuine appreciation.

The main characters include Haruki, the dedicated young manga artist; his pragmatic and loyal friend Rikiya, who speaks in Kansai dialect and acts as a protector of Haruki's dream; and the antagonistic twins whose thoughtless laughter forces Haruki to question the value of his own work. The setting is a contemporary Japanese high school, primarily within the art room or club space where the characters interact over manuscripts.

One notable narrative arc involves the confrontation with the twins, where Rikiya takes Haruki's manga directly to them to challenge their behavior. This arc shifts from a story about bullying to one about defending a shared creative space, ultimately reinforcing the bond between Haruki and Rikiya as they find humor and solidarity in their friendship after the conflict is resolved. The creator has stated that the work was designed specifically to be a story that is not even one millimeter stressful to read, focusing on the peaceful, comedic, and heartwarming interactions of the characters.
