A man awakens to find himself standing in an unfamiliar, eerily silent subway passageway with no memory of how he arrived. He soon realizes he is trapped within an endless loop of identical corridors, and his only hope for escape is to reach the Exit 8. To succeed, he must walk the seemingly infinite hallway, carefully observing his surroundings for subtle anomalies. When he detects a change, he must turn back immediately. If he misses an anomaly and continues forward, or if he turns back when nothing is wrong, he is reset to the starting point, forced to begin his journey again as his desperation grows.
