Description
High school student Kaedetsu is a member of his schools light music club, yet he feels completely unable to fit in with those around him. Lacking clear goals or a sense of purpose, he grows increasingly frustrated with his own life and the stagnant environment that suffocates him. Seeking an escape, he attends a concert by his favorite band for the first time. There, he encounters Asuka, a friend of his older sister. Asuka is attending a vocational school to become a nursery teacher, but she cannot abandon her own past passion for music. Like Kaedetsu, she feels trapped by the monotony of her daily routine.

Bonding over their shared dissatisfaction with the ordinary world, Kaedetsu and Asuka decide to form a band. However, their path is far from easy as various obstacles begin to block their way. They must navigate the expectations and interference of friends, family, and the adults in their lives, as well as the complicated feelings that arise between them and the people they care about. The story chronicles their struggle to build something meaningful while dealing with these external pressures, exploring the universal human desire to understand others and to be understood in return. Through their musical journey, both characters search for a way to live authentically on their own terms, hoping to discover a version of themselves that they can finally learn to like. The narrative is based on the hit Vocaloid song of the same name by the artist Surii.
