Description
The second part of the Tasūketsu manga series, titled Tasūketsu: FINAL KEQ, continues the high-stakes survival game where the majority dies. Serialized from 2015 to 2017, this arc follows high school student Saneatsu Narita and his companions as they struggle against a mysterious and deadly game known as Tasūketsu, orchestrated by a figure called the Emperor.

The premise is a brutal referendum on life and death. Each day, all remaining players are presented with a binary question on a screen. Those who vote with the majority are immediately killed, leaving only the minority to survive and advance to the next round. The ultimate winner, the last person standing, is granted an audience with the Emperor. The game is set in a decimated version of Tokyo, where a significant portion of the population has already perished in the initial rounds, leaving isolated survivors to navigate an urban landscape turned into a ghost town.

Saneatsu Narita is the main protagonist, a fifteen-year-old high school student determined to confront and defeat the Emperor rather than simply survive the daily votes. He is joined by Saaya Fujishiro, a member of the student council, and his best friend Ryuta Ichinose. Other key players include the diminutive Omi Jin, the stoic Tojuro Yagihashi, and Eren Kunashiri. The cast also includes adults like teacher Sotaro Shinozaki and more antagonistic figures such as the enigmatic Hisoka Mido. To level the playing field against the Emperor's absolute authority, players can discover hidden envelopes that grant special supernatural abilities known as privileges.

The narrative arc of Tasūketsu: FINAL KEQ focuses on the group's transition from desperate survival to active resistance. After the initial shock of the game's commencement, Saneatsu and his allies seek out other survivors, uncover the nature of privileges, and formulate a plan to reach the Emperor. The story explores the psychological toll of the daily judgments, the strategic use of minority votes, and the moral compromises made by those who wield life-and-death power. The plot involves confrontations with other players who use their privileges for selfish or cruel ends, culminating in a direct assault on the Emperor's stronghold to end the game for good.
