Description
Noa is a devoted fan who worships Ibuki, a member of the immensely popular idol group ILY, as nothing less than a god. Following one of the group's high-energy concerts, Noa has a chance encounter with her idol at a convenience store, where their eyes meet over the pudding section. In that unexpected moment, Noa learns that Ibuki is suffering under the immense stress of being constantly worshiped as a charismatic and untouchable god by his legion of fans. Realizing his burden, she instinctively hides her true identity as a hardcore otaku. This small act of honesty leads Ibuki to impulsively pull her into a spontaneous one-night-only getaway, launching an improbable and special relationship between an introverted fan girl and a famous idol.
The story unfolds as Noa, whose full name is Noa Kuroda, navigates this secret connection with Ibuki. Their relationship develops against the backdrop of the glamorous but grueling entertainment industry. While Ibuki struggles with the crushing pressure of his agency and the unrealistic expectations of his fanbase, Noa is forced to confront the contradictions in her own fandom, learning to see the person behind the idol she once worshiped as a deity. The narrative explores the blurred lines between fan and friend, adoration and genuine affection. The manga, written by Yuka Kitagawa, began serialization in Kodansha's Bessatsu Friend magazine in April 2024 and concluded on April 13, 2026, with its story collected into four volumes.
