Description
In a university setting, second-year student Tozawa Kiyoka is suddenly approached by Kumasaka Takeru, a flashy and intimidating guy who is the subject of constant campus rumors about stealing other students' girlfriends, a practice known as "NTR". Everyone around Tozawa pities her, assuming she is about to become Kumasaka's next victim. However, the truth is the complete opposite of everyone's expectations. Kumasaka, who looks like a stereotypical playboy, is actually a pure and gentle person who simply wants to make a real friend. The surprising twist is that Tozawa, who appears to be a wholesome and innocent girl, is the one who might actually be pursuing Kumasaka for his body.
The narrative conflict arises from this reversal of perceptions and the intense contrast between the two leads. Kumasaka struggles with his intimidating appearance and the false rumors that prevent him from forming genuine connections, while Tozawa's forward and intense personality drives much of the comedy and tension. What begins as a situation born from lust and misunderstanding slowly shifts into a meaningful romantic slow burn, where teasing, awkward tension, and comedic situations give way to genuine emotional development. The story follows these two opposites as they navigate their unusual relationship, learning to see each other as real people rather than the fantasies or rumors that surround them.
The manga is a serialized romantic comedy with school life themes, based on an earlier webcomic that the author originally released on their Twitter account starting in September 2024. The serialized version, which began print publication in July 2025, features entirely different chapters and storylines compared to the original pre-serialized Twitter version.
