Description
Following a violent altercation that left her mother hospitalized with expensive medical bills, former delinquent Asuka makes a drastic decision. She vows to abandon her fighting ways, study relentlessly, and secure a wealthy husband to pay for the surgery. Her hard work pays off when she is accepted into the elite Takadaka Academy, where she quickly gains a reputation as a graceful honor student and joins the student council. Her plan seems perfect when the grandfather of the student council president, the flawless and admired Shion, proposes an engagement between them.

Asuka accepts, but Shion immediately runs away. When she tracks him down, she finds him transformed into a yankee, complete with a cosplay-like delinquent style he has clearly modeled after manga characters. Born into immense wealth, Shion has lived his entire life under the weight of family expectations, never able to pursue his own desires. He refuses to return home until he has experienced the freedom he has always been denied, and he insists that Asuka accompany him. He has compiled a list of forbidden activities that a rich heir could never attempt, from petty rebellious acts to experiencing a rougher side of life.

Asuka finds herself in a frustrating predicament. She needs the engagement to proceed so she can secure her mother's future, but Shion will not agree to marry her until he has satisfied his craving for authenticity and self-discovery. What Shion truly wants is not just a list of delinquent adventures, but proof that someone can love him for who he is rather than for his family name. Asuka, who understands the delinquent world from lived experience while Shion only romanticizes it from manga, must now guide him through his rebellion while trying to make him fall for her genuinely. The story follows this mismatched pair navigating Shions bucket list of transgressions, the contrast between Asukas practical toughness and Shions earnest but naive delinquency, and the central question of whether a relationship built on such a transactional beginning can become something real. Serialized in Hana to Yume, the series blends romantic comedy with themes of identity, class difference, and the gap between fantasy and reality.
