A temple knight named Wieland arrives in a remote village on a mission from the capital to find the long lost Saintess. During his stay, he meets Zef, an older man living in the village. At Wieland's request, Zef agrees to undergo the formal assessment to test for the qualities of the Saintess. To the shock of everyone involved, including Zef himself, the assessment identifies the middle aged man as the chosen Saintess.
