The remote island nation of Arakam is a place where military might and religious faith stand as the twin pillars of an oppressive rule. In this dark fantasy setting during the mid twentieth century, a young soldier named Yuzuki is driven by a distorted and obsessive sense of justice. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a wandering boy of unknown age who calls himself Furuoka. Together, this pair with a seemingly mismatched dynamic is drawn into a narrative that increasingly blurs the line between personal conviction and outright madness.

As a soldier consumed by her rigid morality, Yuzuki represents the harsh discipline of Arakams military society. Furuoka, by contrast, is an enigmatic drifter whose mysterious background and unsettling calm challenge the foundations of Yuzukis worldview. Their meeting sets off a chain of events that forces both to confront the nature of justice and the cost of fanaticism within a nation built on control and devotion.
