Description
A genius surgeon named Akira Kirihara is suddenly reborn as Chiara Bellworth, the protagonist of a romantic fantasy story called Cinderella's Engagement. In this new world, magical healing exists, but it has severe limitations; any injury or illness that cannot be cured by magic is considered hopeless, and those suffering from such conditions are simply abandoned. Chiara retains all the knowledge and skills from her past life as a surgeon, giving her a unique ability to treat patients that magic cannot help.
The story begins when Chiara provides first aid to an injured follower of Prince Cecil. Impressed by her unconventional methods and recognizing the potential to revolutionize healthcare in his kingdom, the prince takes a liking to her. He is determined to overhaul the countrys inadequate medical system and sees Chiara as the key to that transformation. To formalize their partnership and give her the authority she needs, Prince Cecil proposes to her.
With the princes political backing and resources, Chiara begins performing surgical procedures on patients who have been written off by magical healers. At first, the relationship between Chiara and Cecil is strictly professional, functioning as a partnership between a reform-minded royal and a brilliant surgeon. However, as they work closely together to save lives and challenge the established order, their bond deepens and they gradually become attracted to each other. The narrative follows both the medical challenges Chiara faces as she introduces advanced surgical techniques to a magical society and the personal development of her romance with the prince.
