Yamazaki has always loved cinema, and before even setting foot in high school, he is determined to join the film club. However, when he arrives at the club room, he finds it nearly empty, home to only two members: the club manager and a well-endowed girl named Goto. He soon learns that many boys have joined the club before him, motivated purely by the chance to be near Goto, but her abrasive and eccentric personality has driven every single one of them away. Only Yamazaki remains, enduring her relentless oddities and stubborn nature.

The story is set within a modern Japanese high school, centered almost entirely on the peculiar dynamic within the film club. The narrative arcs focus on the daily comedic clashes between Yamazaki, the film enthusiast trying to pursue his passion, and Goto, whose bizarre behavior constantly threatens to derail any serious club activity.
