Description
Third Prince Theodulf has been banished to a wasteland known as the Land of Death because he did not receive a gift from the Goddess upon his coming of age. The region is a barren, toxic expanse where the air itself is noxious and nothing can grow, making survival seem impossible. However, the court and his royal siblings are unaware that Theodulf is a reincarnated being. During his reincarnation, the Goddess secretly granted him a unique and immensely powerful ability called Auto-Craft, which allows him to automatically create almost anything he desires.
The story is set in a fantasy world where royal children receive divine gifts, and the protagonist is soon joined by his beautiful and loyal maid, Leila, the only one who chose to follow him into exile. The central conflict arises from this dramatic reversal of fortune: what was intended as a death sentence becomes the foundation for an unprecedented rise in power, forcing Theodulf to navigate the political fallout from his former kingdom while managing the growth of his new domain.
The narrative is driven by Theodulf using Auto-Craft to defy all expectations. He begins by creating the necessities for survival, but his power quickly escalates to produce advanced golems, powerful weapons, and infrastructure that transforms the Land of Death into a thriving, fertile territory. As news of this miraculous transformation spreads, his village attracts a diverse array of races, including beastmen and other non-humans, turning his small settlement into a bustling, multi-species community.
Several notable narrative arcs structure the plot. The first major arc involves the initial transformation of the wasteland and the establishment of a functional village from nothing. Subsequent arcs likely focus on territorial expansion as the village grows beyond normal scale, encountering the wider world's resources and challenges. This is followed by a political intrigue arc, where the kingdom that exiled Theodulf takes notice of his prosperous lands, leading to potential conflict or diplomatic maneuvering. Finally, a community building arc sees Theodulf navigating the complexities of leadership, uniting different races, and defending his new home from external threats. At its core, the series blends rapid territory development with a slow life aesthetic, focusing on the comfortable and leisurely pace of building a new society despite the high-stakes premise of exile.
