The Getter Team, now operating from a new Saotome Institute and piloting the upgraded Getter Robo G, encounters a cult of demon worshippers performing a ritual to revive the legendary Demon Lord Dante. The team moves to ambush the ceremony in their Getter Dragon formation, but the intervention has an unexpected effect. The resurrection is disrupted, causing the awakened Demon Lord Dante to fuse not with Ryo Utsugi, the young researcher destined to be his host, but with the hot-blooded pilot Ryoma Nagare. The intended host, Ryo Utsugi, who is a researcher at the Saotome Institute's biochemistry laboratory and the one who truly possesses Dante's soul, is instead cast away and rescued by the demon Medusa.

The story takes place following the events of the preceding crossover, Devilman vs Getter Robo, and pits the Getter Robo G against the forces of darkness. The primary conflict centers on the fusion of Ryoma with the malevolent Demon Lord. Ryo Utsugi, understanding the danger, decides to form an uneasy alliance with Dr. Saotome at the research institute. Their shared goal is to find a way to separate Ryoma from Dante without destroying the pilot, while also contending with the demonic forces that are now rallying behind their revived master. The Getter Team, consisting of the impulsive Ryoma Nagare, the sharp and ruthless Hayato Jin, and the powerful Benkei Kuruma, must now fight against their possessed comrade as a central part of the narrative. The manga ran in Monthly Champion Red magazine from its October 2011 issue to its February 2012 issue, concluding after a total of five chapters which were collected into a single volume.
