Description
In modern-day Tokyo, an unexplained phenomenon brings iconic historical figures back to life. To help them navigate the contemporary world, those who struggle to adapt find refuge in a unique shared housing complex called Sharehouse Nile.

The story primarily follows Marie Antoinette, the former queen of France. Still processing the trauma of her execution and clinging to her past privileges, she now harbors a simple, universal dream: to find true love. Her daily routine of waiting for her prince charming is upended with the arrival of a handsome and gentle new resident, Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Marie Antoinette initially feels an instant attraction to the charismatic revolutionary. However, she is horrified upon discovering his real identity, as his life's mission of class struggle and overthrowing aristocrats represents everything that led to her tragic fate. The central conflict asks whether a romance can blossom between two people whose very existence is symbolically and ideologically opposed.

The house is home to several other resurrected figures who serve as both support and comic relief. These include the warrior Joan of Arc, the legendary Japanese prince Yamato Takeru, the artist Pablo Picasso, the courtesan Yang Guifei, and Alexander the Great. Each character grapples with their own memories and outdated habits in a world they do not recognize.

As the series progresses, the narrative focuses on the tension and reluctant bond between Marie Antoinette and Che Guevara. Forced into close quarters, they navigate typical romantic comedy scenarios such as cooking disasters and beach outings. Through these interactions, the story explores themes of prejudice and the possibility of seeing beyond societal fractures. The romance forces Marie Antoinette to confront her past and reconsider her worldview, even as her revolutionary roommate struggles to reconcile his past with his unexpectedly gentle present.
