Description
In the year 1890, during Japan’s Meiji era, a curious young girl named Kanako is utterly obsessed with a supernatural network known as the Worldwide MIKO SpiriNet, which functions like the modern Internet and can only be accessed by chosen shrine maidens called miko. When she is not browsing mystical message boards, she can often be found captivated by pictures of men. The story blends historical Japan with urban fantasy, following Kanako as she navigates her dual life as a miko and an avid netizen in a world where spiritual technology coexists with traditional society. The narrative focuses on her enthusiasm for the SpiriNet and the humorous, anachronistic situations that arise from her online habits in a late‑19th‑century setting.
