A sleep-deprived high school student leads a double life. By day, the protagonist struggles to stay awake in class, but by night, they are a member of a secret organization known as the Kyūmei. This covert group is humanity’s only defense against the Kaka, malevolent creatures that seek to conquer the human world. Clad in black robes, the protagonist dashes through the moonlit streets, taking on these supernatural threats in a series of nocturnal battles. The story follows this high school vigilante’s efforts to balance ordinary student life with the dangerous duty of protecting the world, all while grappling with the exhaustion that comes from being constantly sleep-deprived. The narrative unfolds across episodic encounters with various Kaka, leading toward a final confrontation that tests the protagonist’s resolve and the bonds within the secret organization.
