Vantrute Bear Mineral, a thirty-two-year-old mage, lost both her boyfriend and her job to a younger woman. Obsessed with regaining her lost youth, she becomes fixated on the legendary ancient magic known as Anti-Aging. She assembles a party of fellow women adventurers: Shal, a thirty-four-year-old elf priest whose youthful appearance belies her age and who finances her otaku hobbies; a muscular twenty-two-year-old female warrior; and twenty-eight-year-old martial artist Hokuto Ivanko, who is engaged to an eight-year-old boy named Shimeji. Their adventures are driven not only by the search for the Anti-Aging spell but also by their desire for romance and a better life after work.

The party's early leads point them toward a cosmetics company president who appears miraculously young at seventy, then toward a magazine reporter named Light Highlight who has documented the magic. En route, they survive a bandit attack and rescue a young girl. Meanwhile, Eriel Kateesi, an ambitious thirty-two-year-old captain of the princess's guard and Bear's former high-school classmate, independently pursues the same magic to further her career. After Eriel forces Light to reveal what he knows, the reporter collapses from a curse, and Bear and Eriel's subordinate Tish Kresia are teleported to a secret location where they meet the eight witches who create Anti-Aging every fifty years to preserve their own youth. The witches reveal the truth behind the magic, but anyone who learns the secret is cursed to silence. The story follows the mismatched party’s comedic and perilous quest across an RPG-style fantasy world as they juggle personal insecurities, friendships, and the ever-present hope of turning back the clock.
