Rudra is a solitary and experienced dragon hunter who ventures alone into the heart of dragon nests to harvest valuable parts from the creatures' bodies. During one such raid, he makes an unprecedented discovery: a feral human girl living among the dragons. Named Nato, she was raised by the beasts from infancy, lacks developed human language and cognition, and is fiercely protected by a dragon she regards as her brother. Rudra captures her and brings her by force to his village, the stronghold of the Dragon Hunt Tribe, a community whose entire way of life depends on slaying dragons and exploiting their remains.
