In a world inhabited by both humans and a race born with brilliant, feathered wings, Shu is a human who begins working at the family estate of Rai, a shy and reclusive young winged man who struggles to interact with others. Despite initially disliking the haughtiness he associates with winged people, Shu takes the job to support his younger siblings. One night, Shu accidentally glimpses Rai crying in his sleep, and this moment stirs a deep curiosity and determination in him to understand Rai better. As Shu tentatively reaches out, Rai discovers an abandoned egg of a winged being outside his home. To the astonishment of everyone, Rai declares he will raise the hatchling himself—on the condition that Shu helps him. The sudden responsibility of caring for a baby draws the two closer, forcing them to navigate their growing feelings while learning to trust each other and build an unconventional family.
