High school student Kazusa Kamishiro's ordinary life is upended when his mother announces out of nowhere that they have a new family member: a little girl named Nonoko, the same girl Kazusa once saw in a dream. Nonoko claims to be a god of marriage, albeit an immature and inexperienced one, and it falls to Kazusa to help her grow into a proper deity. He has no idea how to raise a child, let alone a god, but if Nonoko is nurtured correctly, she may be able to forge romantic bonds—including perhaps the one between Kazusa and his classmate Shiina Natsume. Set in a contemporary Japanese town and blending supernatural comedy with school life, the story follows Kazusa's bewildering journey as he learns to care for a divine charge, juggling everyday high school moments with the chaotic, otherworldly presence of a tiny god determined to master the art of matchmaking.
