Description
Azuma Hiroshi, a self-proclaimed good-for-nothing high school student, and his classmate Toudou Haruna, a breathtakingly beautiful girl, are suddenly caught in a malicious bug inside their favorite VRMMO, Fairy Tale Chronicle. The glitch traps them inside the game world, leaving them penniless with only the most basic starter equipment and no way to log out. Stranded in a fantasy realm that closely mirrors the game they know, they must figure out how to survive and search for a path back to their original world.
Hiroshi has two major obstacles. The first is the unfamiliar and dangerous setting: a game-like world where every item can be crafted by hand and monsters roam freely. The second is his severe phobia of women, which makes living alongside Haruna—who is both his sole companion and a constant source of panic—deeply awkward. Fortunately, Hiroshi possesses an unexpected advantage: when he was transported, he retained top-tier artisan skills from the game. He throws himself into crafting, producing ultra-rare items and tools without reading the room, while Haruna tries to manage their day-to-day survival.
The story follows their adventure as they attempt to build a self-sufficient life in the wilderness, grapple with the mysteries of the world, and uncover the reason they were brought there. Hiroshi’s cowardly but determined nature and his struggle to maintain distance from Haruna drive much of the comedy and tension. Meanwhile, Haruna’s competence and beauty attract attention from other inhabitants, leading to conflicts and opportunities. Their journey blends crafting, exploration, and combat, with the overarching goal of finding a way home—all while Hiroshi tries to keep his composure around the opposite sex.
