Description
Airi Aikawa is a professional manga artist living alone and working on her series. She has a much younger childhood friend named Hinaki, who was once a student in an art class Airi taught. Hinaki has been preparing for the entrance exams to the Toukyou University of the Arts but is on the verge of abandoning that dream because of personal circumstances. When Airi learns about Hinaki’s struggle, she boldly suggests that Hinaki move in with her in Tokyo and live together. Hinaki accepts, and the two begin sharing an apartment. But Airi is keeping a secret that she has never told anyone, not even Hinaki: something about her life as a creator and the true reason behind her offer to cohabitate. The story unfolds as a cohabitation comedy that explores the age-gap dynamic between a working manga artist and a determined art student, the tension of Hinaki’s looming university application, and the gradual revelation of Airi’s hidden truth. Along the way, the pair navigate daily life, creative blocks, lingering romantic undertones, and the challenge of balancing personal ambition with the intimacy of living together.
