Two months after moving to Tokyo, Iku Kurihara is adjusting to his new otaku life when he begins seeing ghosts. One ghost in particular catches his attention—a man who stands on a pedestrian bridge every night. Iku tries to ignore him, but the apparition lingers. That ghost is Mimori Seo, a young man who spent a full year as a spirit while his body lay in a coma recovering from a near-fatal fall. During that year, Iku inexplicably entered Mimori’s dreams and grew close to him. Now that Mimori has awakened, he has no memory of his time as a ghost or of Iku.

When Iku suddenly confesses his love, Mimori is left bewildered, unable to recognize the convenience store clerk who claims to have visited his dreams.
