Description
Uzuki Nono is a female art school student with a dream of debuting as a professional erotic manga artist. Despite her enthusiasm and technical skill, she repeatedly has her submissions rejected by editorial departments. The consistent critique is that her male characters lack believable emotional depth and authentic reactions. Frustrated but determined, Nono decides that the only way to bridge the gap between her theoretical knowledge and real experience is to go directly to the source. She approaches a male classmate named Haru and begins asking him earnest, sometimes embarrassingly direct questions about the erotic situations she is trying to depict. What starts as a practical research arrangement gradually blurs into something more personal, as Nono finds herself navigating not only the challenges of her craft but also her own awakening feelings and the awkward, flirtatious tension that develops between them. The story unfolds in a contemporary school setting, blending slice-of-life comedy with ecchi elements and a heavy focus on otaku culture. Later story arcs involve an editor criticizing her work for lacking “practicality,” prompting Nono to participate in a heart-pounding co-ed training camp with Haru in order to gather firsthand material for her manga.
