A university student dies in a traffic accident and awakens in a forest in another world, his consciousness now inhabiting the body of a boy. The world is a medieval-level civilization where some possess a supernatural power called jujutsu. Soon after arriving, he encounters a colossal griffon who rules the forest. The griffon bestows upon him the Language Blessing and the name Almus, then commands him to take charge of thirty orphaned children who have been abandoned in the griffon’s territory.

Almus leads the children out of the forest to a deserted village, where he uses the knowledge and experience of his previous life to begin farming. He sells a sword the griffon had seized to buy tools, and the group slowly builds a self‑sufficient settlement. Their success attracts more orphans and, eventually, refugees from neighboring lands.

While visiting a nearby town, Almus meets a young sorceress named Yuria, who turns out to be the only daughter of the King of Rosais. Impressed by the griffon‑chosen boy, the king makes Almus Yuria’s tutor. Meanwhile, one of the orphan children, Tetora, is revealed to be the daughter of the fallen As family, a noble house destroyed by the King of Ferm. When the King of Ferm invades the village, Almus must fight back, and in the ensuing war he kills the Ferm king. He then becomes the adopted son of the Rosais prince, marries Tetora to restore the As family, and is granted the As territory to govern.

As Almus rebuilds the As domain through clever economic policies, he becomes a target of envy from Yuria’s original fiancé, Rigal Delbir. After a series of political confrontations, Rigal challenges Almus to a Divine Duel. Both possess the Great King’s Blessing, but Almus wins decisively, causing Rigal’s authority to crumble. Almus then marries Yuria as his second wife and is formally crowned the new King of Rosais.

Later, the neighboring Domorgal kingdom invades the As territory, leading to a prolonged siege at Fort Teria. Despite using Tetora’s inventions—fire medicine and flame tubes—the war is a seesaw battle until a cavalry attack on Domorgal’s supply lines forces them to sue for peace. Returning home, Almus crushes the rebellious Delbir clan, and Rigal dies when his blessing reverses. With his position secure, Almus continues to expand his power through diplomacy and internal development, eventually becoming known as the Divine Emperor.

The story traces his steady rise from an orphaned reincarnate to village leader, lord, king, and emperor, with a strong focus on agriculture, trade, military tactics, and the intricate political maneuvering of a medieval fantasy world.
