Description
A young man who dies in a traffic accident is reincarnated as a minor background character named Allen in a fantasy video game world he once played obsessively. Unlike a typical hero, Allen is a mob character with no special lineage, divine blessing, or unique starting class. However, he retains complete knowledge of the game's mechanics, hidden systems, and future events. Determined not to live a mundane existence, he exploits every loophole in the world's rules to train beyond normal limits, seeking power purely for its own sake. His goal is not to save the kingdom or defeat a demon lord, but to reach the absolute strongest level possible as a nobody, using unorthodox methods like hunting high-level monsters far above his rank, mastering skills that are considered useless, and completing side quests that others ignore.

The main cast includes Allen himself, a pragmatic and relentless individual who treats his new life like a sandbox for power leveling, often disregarding social norms or heroic expectations. He is frequently accompanied by a timid but kind-hearted healer girl named Lilia, who becomes his first party member out of gratitude and gradually grows more confident through their dangerous adventures. There is also the arrogant but talented noble swordsman, Clive, who initially dismisses Allen as worthless but becomes a recurring rival as Allen's combat prowess defies all logic. The world is a standard high-fantasy setting with dungeons, guilds, monster territories, and a human kingdom on the brink of a war with neighboring beast tribes. However, Allen treats major political crises as mere opportunities for rare item drops and experience points, often intervening in key battles not to save lives, but to secure the best loot or trigger hidden boss fights.

Notable narrative arcs include the Early Grind Arc, where Allen spends months in the most dangerous forest, barely surviving and developing a unique combat style that combines low-tier magic with physical feats, shocking the local guild when he returns with materials from a dragon. The Tournament Arc sees him entering a royal competition under a fake name, not for glory, but to test his skills against the realm's best fighters and to win a skill tome that can only be obtained as a prize. The Dungeon Anomaly Arc occurs when Allen deliberately triggers a game-breaking glitch in a legendary labyrinth, causing a floor to collapse and unleashing a secret super-boss that threatens the capital. While the army and heroes struggle, Allen uses his foreknowledge to solo the boss, but the collateral damage makes him a controversial figure, feared by nobles and hailed by commoners. The final major arc involves the Demonic Invasion, where Allen learns that the game's original final boss is awakening years early because of his own tampering with the world's balance. Rather than feeling remorse, he sees it as the ultimate test, and he abandons the human army to chase the demon lord across the continent, engaging in a solo war that reshapes the map and leaves the political powers scrambling in his wake. Throughout all these events, Allen never becomes a traditional savior; he remains a mob character in status and appearance, but his personal power grows to the point where gods and demons alike take notice, forcing the world to revolve around the very nobody who refused to stay in the background.
