A nameless one-eyed goblin wanders a fantasy world. Though he belongs to a lowly, magicless race considered the bottom of the social hierarchy, he can speak human languages and wields a sword technique that overwhelms any opponent. This lone goblin, later known as Ozunu, travels with a young girl named Meeple, and the two encounter various people in need.

The story begins in an unnamed world where adventurers and nobles routinely underestimate goblins. Ozunu’s swordsmanship and sense of honor set him apart; he rescues a lord’s daughter named Rira, then hears of a slave market in a nearby town. To reach it in time, he and Meeple cross the dangerous Plain of Thirst, where they meet twin sisters with troubles of their own. After saving Meeple from being kidnapped in a trade city and settling a score with the bandit leader Kamadoma, Ozunu learns a clue about Meeple’s missing older sister. The pair, joined by a new companion, head to the Wind Country, where unexpected challenges await.

Throughout the journey, Ozunu’s past remains a secret: how a goblin gained such skill and why he protects a human child. The narrative follows his path through varied settlements and hostile territories, mixing action with encounters that test his code of loyalty and strength. The series is an ongoing tale of an improbable swordsman carving his own way in a world that dismisses his kind.
