Description
In a world torn apart by a colossal rift that splits the earth, people dig ceaselessly for relics known as inheritance in order to survive. This broken landscape, composed of massive land plates called crusts, is littered with the remains of ancient civilizations and the mysteries of forgotten gods. Into this brutal frontier walks Egnaro, a driven and enigmatic traveler who carries a singular astonishing goal: to kill a god.
Egnaro is a renegade branded as an apostate, hunted by the cathedral knights who serve the dominant religious order. His journey brings him into contact with the scavengers and settlers who scratch out a living amid the ruins, but he is not there to simply survive. He seeks the means to commit deicide, and his search leads him to an ancient temple where a mysterious entity called the Archetype lies dormant. The Archetype is described as the key to killing a god, and Egnaro is determined to claim it.
The world Egnaro navigates is populated by three awe-inspiring forces: the machine gods known as Exoskeletons, colossal mecha that serve as weapons of immense power; the creation insects, bizarre and dangerous lifeforms that hint at a forgotten biology; and the star-eating lord, a godlike entity whose nature is shrouded in legend and terror. The cathedral knights, wielding their own Exoskeletons, pursue Egnaro relentlessly, and their clashes escalate into battles that shake the very plates of the earth. During one such confrontation, Egnaro unleashes a secret technique passed down only among royalty, while the knights counter with their own ultimate arts, sending the landscape crumbling around them.
As the present conflict intensifies, the story pulls back to Egnaro's past. His origins, his connection to the royal line, and the reason he became an apostate are gradually revealed. The narrative explores his personal vendetta against the star god and the events that set him on this path of divine murder. The struggle is not merely physical but ideological, as Egnaro challenges the very foundations of the world's belief system in his quest to slay the being that rules over it.
