Itsuki has a crush on an older student: Ririko, the stern and no-nonsense president of the school's disciplinary committee. Desperate for any excuse to talk to her, he deliberately wears his uniform sloppily—untucked shirt, skewed tie, loosened collar—hoping she will call him out. But Ririko is always one step ahead, correcting him before he can even get a word in, and she remains completely oblivious to his true feelings.

The story is set in a standard Japanese high school where appearances and rules matter. Itsuki is a fundamentally earnest and kind boy, but his crush has turned him into a lovelorn idiot who puts on a fake delinquent act just to get reprimanded.
