The Purehearted Squadron Virginius is a superhero team whose power stems from maintaining their virginity. Because of this strict requirement, the squad is almost exclusively composed of young boys and girls. The sole adult exception is Red, a 33-year-old man who, after years of romantic failure, has sworn off love entirely to focus on fighting evil. The story's central complication arrives when a new member, Pink, joins the ranks. Pink is actually a 28-year-old woman who has falsified her age to appear as a minor, and she quickly develops romantic feelings for Red. The squadron's archenemy, the villainous organization Vinran, attempts to steal the heroes' purity, often by trying to force romantic entanglements. Paradoxically, Vinran's plots frequently end up pushing Red and Pink closer together, though the pair's mutual awkwardness and the requirement to remain chaste create endless misunderstandings and stalled progress. Over the course of the story, the team dynamics shift: Yellow, one of the core members, grows so friendly with the former enemies that the lines between hero and villain blur. A more serious antagonist, Phobia, emerges from the shadows, threatening the team with a genuine menace. Red and Pink's relationship slowly advances through comedic setbacks and emotional breakthroughs, leading to a conclusion that resolves both the external conflict and their long-deferred romance.
