Description
"Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Chapter 2: A Week at the Mansion" continues the story of Subaru Natsuki, a young man transported to a fantasy world where he discovers he has the ability to return to a specific point in time upon death. After the events of the first arc, Subaru is invited to stay at Roswaal Mansion, the residence of the powerful mage Roswaal L. Mathers, alongside Emilia, a half-elf candidate to become the next ruler of the Kingdom of Lugnica, and her companions.
The arc focuses on Subaru’s adjustment to life at the mansion, where he forms bonds with its inhabitants, including Rem and Ram, twin maids who serve Roswaal. Rem, initially cold and distrustful toward Subaru, gradually warms to him as he proves his dedication to helping Emilia and his willingness to endure hardship. Ram, on the other hand, maintains a more aloof and sarcastic demeanor. Subaru also interacts with Beatrice, the mansion’s enigmatic librarian, who possesses vast knowledge and magical abilities but is often cryptic and standoffish.
