Megumi Matsumoto is a Japanese voice actress born on February 6, 1977, in Kumamoto Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Ken Production. Throughout her career, she has become known for providing the voices for a wide range of characters, particularly young boys, in anime television series, video games, and dubbed versions of foreign films.

Matsumoto's filmography includes a number of prominent roles in the early 2000s. She voiced the character Kouya Marino in the series Gekito! Crush Gear Turbo, which aired in 2001. Another significant early role was as Ryuta Kodai in the 2007 series Dinosaur King. During this period, she also lent her voice to Sam N'Dool in the series D.I.C.E. and Betao Jōseki in KY Kei JC Kuuki-chan.

She is likely best recognized for her work as the character Kunikida in the immensely popular Haruhi Suzumiya franchise. Matsumoto voiced Kunikida in both the 2006 television series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and the 2010 film The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya. She later reprised the role for the 2015 spin-off series, The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.

Her career continued with a variety of roles across different genres and formats. She played Toche in the 2009 series Sora o Miageru Shōjo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai and Pauki in Kiddy Girl-AND, also from 2009. In 2011, she voiced the character Pollux in the animated film Appleseed XIII: Tartaros & Ouranos. Other credits include the role of Daigorō in Tansuwarashi and a young Haruka Nanase in the popular series Free!. Matsumoto is also active in video games and dubbing foreign productions, providing the Japanese voice for characters such as Briony Tallis in the film Atonement.
