Chika Fujimura is a Japanese voice actress and actress from Gifu Prefecture, born on March 28, 1981. She is affiliated with the talent agency ACROSS ENTERTAINMENT, having transferred there in February 2020 from her previous agency, fmg. In the early part of her career, she used the stage name Chika Fujimura (藤村ちか), which uses a different phonetic script for her given name.
Fujimura began her entertainment career in the early 2000s, working as a reporter for television programs before focusing on voice acting. She is a graduate of the Horikoshi High School. Her voice acting debut came in 2006 with roles in the anime series IGPX and NANA, followed by her first major role as Sora in the 2007 series Oh! Edo Rocket.
Fujimura is perhaps best known for her extensive and long-running work within the Pokémon franchise. She has voiced numerous characters across the series, starting with a minor role in Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire. Her most prominent roles in the franchise include the recurring character Nurse Joy in the Pokémon the Series: Black & White and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon. She is also well-known for voicing Cilan's Pansage (Dent's Yanappu), a role she played in both the television series and several theatrical shorts and films, such as Pikachu to Eevee Friends and Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem VS.
